Fishing doesn’t get much better than this !!

An absolute fish fest,in hot sunny weather with the Canadian Rockies as a backdrop. Does it get any better than that !! The whole team into lots of fish every day caught countless Chum as well as Coho, Sockeye, Chinook, Sturgeon and because our guides are special… Clams . Wading the flats you could be forgiven for thinking you were bone fishing, had the water been warmer. Ned and Jordi had us wading through mud and hiking miles each day trying different spots and found the fish without fail. They then cooked the most delicious shore lunch of freshly caught hatchery Coho fillets and triple A tenderloins of beef Argentinian style. Then back to the Hot Springs Hotel for beers and a hot soak to ease those aching muscles. A punishing regime but worth it as another chrome Coho roared off leaping at the end of your fly line and you prayed you had enough backing ;Or another red cock (sockeye) ran into Tony’s hole; Or another toothy Pitbull of a Chum dragged you off down river. Awesome is a sadly over used word but this really was AWESOME!
